Not sure how Comfort Inn allows their name to be used in this hotel. Carpets are disgusting, shower was painted and is now peeling, carvings on door and I feel dirty after taking a shower! Place has potential and was full so lack of business is not an excuse. We were stuck in traffic and called a Comfort Inn and made a reservation due to trust in a name!
Good room in a quiet location right of the highway. We met here to have a quiet getaway for the weekend. Great spot if you don't plan to leave the room much.
The hotel was clean and well kept. It was an excellent value for the rate paid.
My wife, kids, and I stayed here for a couple weeks on account that we were moving into the area. The hotel was CONSTANTLY under construction with no forewarning. The smell of paint OVERWHELMED the entire hotel. You could barely walk without being afraid paint would drip on you. The second, maybe third day, My wife started getting small bumps all over her legs and arms. We shook it off, but it started getting worse the last couple days there. She went to the drs, and they said she had gotten bed bugs. They gave her antibiotics for the itch and everything. When we called the hotel, they didn’t seem to care. They refused a refund of any kind, and now won’t return my calls.
We had mostly great customer service (the housekeeping staff were amazing!). Breakfast was good. We had an issue with a light in our bathroom and informed the front desk, they took care of it. The downside and reasons for the 3 star rating would be the smell in the room (especially if the a/c was running)- also one of the front desk clerks were rude. It was a comfortable place to sleep for the nights we needed It, and the friendly staff members made up for the things that were not right.
