Dr. Blitzstein is wonderful and does excellent work. I was so impressed with him, that when my coworker complained today about the pain in her tooth, I picked up the phone and called the Signature Smiles office. I told them who I was, and the situation my coworker was in. The woman who answered the phone tried to assist me. She explained that tomorrow was pediatrics day, and they could not get her in until Friday. I did explain how much pain she was in, and requested an appointment today. The woman advised me they had just taken their last patient, but she would check. She put me on hold and came back to advise me that their last appointment would be in 8 minutes from now. I advised her I could make it, and heard the office manager in the background ask where we worked. I told her, and I again heard the office manager in the background state "She cannot make it here by then. No. That will not work". (We work less than 3 miles away) To be honest, I understand if they do not want to stay late to assist someone in pain, nobody likes to stay late at work. However, there was no need to be rude about this situation, as she was. Also, I do not believe if Dr. Blitzstein had taken the call, that it would have been handled in this matter. It's quite a shame that this office does not have an office manager who holds the same ideals and professionalism as that of the doctors and other office workers.
Dr. Battula is one of the best dentists I've had by far. She makes you feel comfortable and she is gentle. I recommend her to anybody who is looking for a great dentist!
